Michael Yoder

Director of Technology · Bailey Engineering

  • PE Licensed Professional Engineer · Idaho #P-17002

Michael Yoder is Bailey's technical engineering pillar for the next phase of intelligence-driven civil engineering. He brings 15 years of civil engineering experience across federal government and private consulting work, with a background spanning hydraulic, civil, transportation, and construction inspection projects.

At Bailey, Michael works with Ryan Benson and Aaron Sperry to integrate AI into engineering workflows without weakening professional judgment. Ryan builds the intelligence layer, Aaron helps translate planning and process into repeatable systems, and Michael anchors that work in engineering reality: design standards, calculations, plan quality, review risk, and constructability.

His experience covers the full civil design process, from project intake and survey coordination through modeling, quantity takeoffs, cost estimating, specifications, and plan/spec/estimate delivery. His software background includes AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bluebeam, MicroStation, InRoads, OpenRoads, Bentley FlowMaster, ArcGIS, FHWA Hydraulic Toolbox, and HY-8.

Michael is an active Idaho Professional Engineer, P-17002, through February 28, 2027.
